How EONAPP Research selects topics, checks changing facts, uses AI assistance and keeps guidance independent from sponsored placements.

Purpose

EONAPP Research & Guides exists to help readers understand AI costs, hardware, privacy, Local AI, BYOK, browser AI and practical workflows. A page should be useful even if the reader never creates an account, starts EONBOT or interacts with a sponsored placement.

What earns a page

New or substantially revised guides should add information a reader can use: an original calculator, first-party checker, decision framework, worked example, methodology, screenshot, benchmark condition, source comparison or a clearer explanation of an important trade-off. Repeating the same body text across many pages is not considered useful expansion.

Sources and changing facts

Provider prices, model names, policies and product capabilities can change. When a conclusion depends on those facts, EONAPP prefers primary provider documentation, shows a review date and links readers to the relevant source where practical. Examples and estimates should be labelled as such.

AI-assisted drafting

AI tools may assist with research organization, outlining, editing and drafting. A generated statement is not treated as evidence. Publication responsibility remains with EONAPP Research, and changing factual claims should be checked against appropriate sources before publication.

Testing and limitations

Claims described as tested should have a repeatable condition. Calculators should expose material assumptions, hardware guidance should distinguish RAM/VRAM/runtime limits, and browser observations should not be generalized beyond the tested setup without evidence. Read the Testing Methodology for more detail.

Corrections and updates

Material factual errors should be corrected promptly when confirmed. Time-sensitive pages should be reviewed as needed or clearly indicate when facts may have changed. Read Corrections & Updates for the public process.

Advertising separation

Advertising or sponsorship does not decide the substantive recommendation in an editorial guide. Sponsored placements must be clearly distinguishable from EONAPP navigation, calculators, EONBOT controls and editorial conclusions. EONAPP does not ask readers to click ads or make ad interaction a condition of receiving the article’s core value.

EONBOT handoffs

A guide may prepare a draft question for EONBOT, but the reader can review and edit it before sending. The handoff is a convenience, not a hidden requirement for accessing the article.
